About Katie

Therapy rooted in honesty, embodiment, and the courage to return to yourself.

My work begins where your truth lives — in the body.

As a woman, a therapist, and a lifelong observer of human behavior, I’ve learned this:

We don’t heal by perfecting ourselves.
We heal by returning to ourselves.

My approach as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist is grounded in the belief that every woman, every couple, and every individual carries a wisdom that lives deeper than their habits, deeper than their patterns, and deeper than the stories they’ve been told.

Your body is not a problem to solve.
Your emotions are not obstacles.
Your patterns are not failures.
They are signals — invitations inward.

My work is to help you understand those signals, honor your story, and step into a more aligned, embodied version of yourself.

My Path to This Work

My path has been imperfect, wayward, and deeply experimental — and I honor that.
I didn’t become a therapist by following a straight line. I arrived here through lived experience, curiosity, intuition, and a willingness to sit with the harder questions.

Before I earned my LMFT, before I specialized in women’s issues, relationships, and eating psychology, I was someone who paid close attention. I noticed how people spoke about themselves, how they softened or hardened, how they used food or relationships to cope, how they disconnected from their truth… and how deeply they longed to come back to themselves.

This led me to years of clinical training, holistic study, and personal exploration — all of which shaped the method I use today.

It’s a blend of:

  • Psychology

  • Embodiment

  • Emotional awareness

  • Relationship insight

  • Intuitive understanding

  • Feminine wisdom

  • Honesty and grounded dialogue

I don’t offer quick fixes or surface-level tools.
I offer clarity, reflection, and guidance so you can deepen your relationship with yourself and others — sustainably.

What I Believe About Healing

Healing is not about being “better.”
It’s about being truer.

It’s about learning where your patterns began
and choosing where you want to go next.

It’s about seeing yourself clearly,
without judgment,
and with compassion.

It’s about trusting the body,
integrating intuition,
and embracing the full spectrum of your experience.

I believe:

  • Your body carries your truth

  • Your relationships reveal your unmet needs

  • Your emotional patterns make sense

  • Your story matters

  • Psychedelic experiences can expand awareness and deepen healing when approached responsibly and with reverence

  • Healing is nonlinear — imperfect, cyclical, and intelligent

  • Your past is not your destiny

  • And you don’t have to walk this alone

The Clients I Work With

I work with:

  • Women returning to themselves

  • Couples seeking reconnection and repair

  • Individuals wanting clarity, emotional maturity, and self-leadership

  • People healing their relationship with food, their body, and their internal narrative

My clients tend to be self-aware, thoughtful, intuitive, and ready — ready to be honest, ready to grow, ready to break old cycles, and ready to lead themselves forward.

If you’re here, you’re likely one of them.

Outside the Therapy Room

My life is a blend of movement, music, creativity, and connection.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me:

  • practicing yoga

  • running outdoors

  • listening to or creating music

  • spending time with my children

  • connecting with my husband

  • loving on my pets

  • tending to the daily rituals that keep me grounded

I live what I teach: presence, nourishment, embodiment, and a deep respect for the human experience.

A Final Note

You are not too late, too much, too complicated, or too far gone.
You are simply at a point of honesty — and that’s where real change begins.

If you’re ready to explore the version of yourself that has been waiting beneath the noise, I’m here.
