I’m going to say something truly bold – I know what you want:
You want peace and freedom from obsession. You want to live your life. You want to tap your purpose, shine brightly, enjoy your own company and spread your wings. You want a deep forgiving exhale. You want to love your body.

Getting and KEEPING what you want isn’t wrought with dieting, working out incessantly and filled with punishment. You’ve sought the body you dream of in lieu of serenity & surrender because who ever taught you that spirituality had anything to do with weight loss (and yet, what yogi do you see hating themselves and obsessed with their grocery shopping list and picking themselves a part in the mirror).
The power of discernment: My yoga teacher, Bhavani Maki taught me about discernment during my 250 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training back in 2006. Who knew it would be the most powerful lesson I’d learn and apply for the rest of my life. Discernment is the muscle you flex when your spiny senses say, “question this,” but your vulnerability says, “um, well, okay, yes?” Discernment in action is self advocacy, boundaries and “giving it time,” before you commit. Discernment is both research and intuition. Discernment ISN’T diving into Reddit posts. Discernment isn’t confirmation bias. Discernment isn’t avoidance. Discernment is mindful decision making. It’s using your conscience & your courage simultaneously.

I was given a precious tool in my 20’s and practiced it day in and day out for a couple years before blazing the next 20 years only to discover that what I learned then I’d be able to apply for the rest of my life. That tool is what I’m providing you in this document. I’ve also included my own clinical twist and personal flavor.
We get to the HEART of the matter through 5 basic therapeutic steps followed by a lesson in a pragmatic (not dogmatic) approach to eating. I’ve even included some recipes to help guide you through meal planning. I trust this will help you – I’ve used my loudest, firmest, most loving voice and I pray my highest intentions have shined through – to edge you closer to the self love you not only deserve but the self love that is the key to your weight loss, weight maintenance and ultimate freedom.
