Fancy up people! With this SUPER simple 3 ingredient pate:

Walnuts

Hemp Hearts

Apple Cider Vinegar

and if you count the bit of salt and pepper -5 ingredients.

In the bowl of your Cuisinart or food processor combine:

1. 5 cups of whole walnuts

1/2 cup of hemp hearts

1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

Process until a pasty dough forms. Takes about 1 minute to process fully.

Take 1 bell pepper and slice in 1/2

Core and discard the insides

Top with shredded lettuce, red onion and avocado

Slice in 1/4’s and devour

Why Walnuts?

Like all nuts, walnuts contain good fats, such as monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats (PUFAs), but they are also a valuable vegetarian source of the essential fatty acid omega-3. They also contain iron, selenium, calcium, zinc, vitamin E and some B vitamins.

Why Hemp?

The oil in the hempseed is rich in numerous fatty acids. Hemp is bursting with omega-9 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium and zinc. It’s got a high fiber and low sugar content, so it’s great for your digestive tract and those on a low-sugar diet.

Why Bell Pepper?

They are an excellent source of vitamin A, vitamin C, and potassium. Bell Peppers also contain a healthy dose of fiber, folate, and iron.
