Aloha & welcome. You might be wondering what a reset is and if you might benefit from one. My name is Katie Trussell and I’m the creator of Therapeutic Eating (TE). The basic tenants of TE are driven by my motto: let’s meet the person we bring to the table.

So, what is Therapeutic Eating?

It’s the fusion of intuitive eating and the crucial therapeutic process. I find no greater misguidance than to assume all people can eat intuitively – meaning they can decide what, when and how much food to consume. Most people have lost trust in their bodies. We’re bombarded by media every which way. Once you become informed about health and the drivers of wellness you wake up to why we’ve become so sick in the first place – but these aren’t easy waters to navigate. Add to the pile unspoken trauma, childhood neglect, abandonment, violation, grief and loss swept under the rug and you have a buffet of:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Obesity
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Skin issues, rashes, eczema
  • Inflammation of the body & mind
  • Relationship havoc
  • Sleep problems
  • The list continues.

So…back to the reset.

  • Every 35 days the outer layer of your skin, the epidermis (apart from the thicker dermis beneath), replaces itself.
  • Every 6 weeks you’re given a new liver.
  • Every 4 days your stomach replaces itself.
  • Every 3 months your entire skeletal structure regenerates.
  • Every 5-7 years the entire human body is outgrown by a new body.
  • 98% of the cells in your body will die and be replaced within the next 365 days.
  • Our fat-storage cells shift roughly once per decade

It’s an organic cycle.

The Body Reset is just long enough to spark behavioral change and just short enough to keep your head in the game. The purpose of making a quarterly investment in your health helps support the body in what it was naturally designed to do: heal & regenerate.
