Aloha & welcome. You might be wondering what the Quarterly Body Reset is and if you might benefit from making it a part of your life. My name is Katie Trussell and I’m the creator of Therapeutic Eating™. The basic tenants of Therapeutic Eating™ are driven by a simple metaphor: to meet the person we bring to the table. Eating intuitively is a complex practice, sometimes involving trauma, a loss of trust and a sense of disconnection to food and our bodies. While these waters aren’t easy to navigate, all solutions are close at hand. Body Reset

I loved the body reset for many reasons. One, it forced me to take a hard look at my relationship with alcohol and sugar. Two, Katie‘s reset isn’t just your standard cleanse, it’s an emotional journey into yourself and your relationship with food. It’s not just about cleansing the body. Just as important, it’s about knowing yourself and exploring your emotional attachments to food as you examine the ways you use food to cope with your life experiences. Three, I got so much out of the reset even though I didn’t follow the protocols exactly. One day I felt like eating nuts, so I did. Another day I wanted some avocado, so I had some. I didn’t feel like I lost out on the purpose of the reset by making a few adjustments to tailor it to my needs. The greater purpose of the reset was still intact because I kept the focus on my emotional relationship to food and that helped me learn so much that has stayed with me long after the reset ended. – May Reset, H.K.
